*We contacted the game warden for the Bandera area, Brent Deen. He does not have any leads at this time and would appreciate our assistance. We are working on posting an additional reward

The RLAT board has approved posting a reward for some damage to some of our newer members' property. This occurred October of last year and there is a reward currently posted on Operation Game Thief by Texas Parks and Wildlife.
RLAT held our annual meeting last month, February 15. Our website, https://www.rlatx.org/, has an article about the meeting on the home page. We had two interesting speakers at the meeting: the first speaker was Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, Sid Miller, and the second speaker was retired Houston firefighter, Eric Kellmann, who spoke about Emergency Services Districts. The Bandera Bulletin had an article about the meeting in their 2/26/25 edition.

The minutes of the members meeting are available to members on the members page, https://www.rlatx.org/members-page.html.

We had some guests at the meeting from the Texas Youth Hunting Program that spoke at the meeting. Part of our mission is the support of youth programs and this seems like a good program for us to support.

As a landowner, if you would like more information about allowing them to hunt on your property, you can request information on their website: https://tyhp.org/landowner-request-for-info/. After the meeting, we spoke with one of our newer members Chris Mitchell who works with the program. He can be contacted at [email protected]
